RONALD HIGGINBOTHAM D.O.

RONALD HIGGINBOTHAM IS BOARD CERTIFIED IN FAMILY PRACTICE AND OSTEOPATHIC MANIPULATIVE MEDICINE (OMM). HE BEGAN HIS PRIVATE PRACTICE IN THE BOISE AREA IN 1987 AND HAS SERVED THE TREASURE VALLEY FOR THE PAST 35 YEARS. HE SPECIALIZES IN OMM, WITH AN EMPHASIS ON TREATING THE WHOLE PERSON. HIS BELIEF IN TREATING THE BODY, MIND AND SPIRIT HAS LED TO HIS SUCCESS IN FACILITATING HEALING FOR BOTH ACUTE AND CHRONIC CONDITIONS OF HIS PATIENTS.

BEFORE OPENING HIS PRIVATE PRACTICE, DR. HIGGINBOTHAM SERVED IN THE UNITED STATES AIR FORCE AS A FLIGHT SURGEON, CARING FOR PILOTS AND THEIR FAMILIES. AFTER OPENING HIS PRACTICE IN BOISE, HE CONTINUED IN THE RESERVES AS AN ARMY FLIGHT SURGEON, AND EVENTUALLY BECAME THE STATE SURGEON FOR IDAHO. ALTHOUGH HE IS RETIRED FROM THE MILITARY, HE CONTINUES TO SERVE PILOTS IN HIS PRIVATE PRACTICE AS A SENIOR AVIATION EXAMINER AS WELL AS A HIMS PROVIDER. DR. HIGGINBOTHAM, ALONG WITH HIS EXPERIENCED SUPPORT STAFF, OFFERS CLASS I, II, AND III CERTIFICATES AND DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION (DOT) PHYSICALS.

DON MACDONAGH NCTMB

DON MACDONAGH GRADUATED WITH A DIPLOMA OF OSTEOPATHY FROM THE EUROPEAN SCHOOL OF OSTEOPATHY, ENGLAND, IN 1980. THIS TRAINING DIFFERS FROM A DOCTORATE OF OSTEOPATHY IN THE UNITED STATES IN THAT IT FOCUSES SOLELY ON PHYSICAL AND NATURAL APPROACHES TO OVERALL WELLNESS WITHOUT SURGERY OR PRESCRIPTION DRUG THERAPY. HE BEGAN HIS WORK WITH DR. HIGGINBOTHAM IN PHYSICAL MEDICINE IN 1996 AND HAS CONTINUALLY ADVANCED HIS TRAINING THROUGH EDUCATION IN MANY TREATMENT MODALITIES. HE IS LICENSED THROUGH THE NATIONAL CERTIFICATION BOARD FOR THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE AND BODY WORK (NCTMB). DON TREATS PATIENTS USING A VARIETY OF OSTEOPATHIC MANIPULATIONS SUCH AS FASCIAL DISTORTION, CRANIOSACRAL, MUSCLE ENERGY. HE IS ALSO AN EXPERIENCED PROVIDER IN THE BOWEN TECHNIQUE, APPLIED KINESIOLOGY AND POSTURAL BALANCING, AS WELL AS NATURAL MEANS FOR HELPING CORRECT SYMPTOMS OF FATIGUE, STRESS, INFLAMATION AND OVERALL, BODY/JOINT ACHES. HE HELPS PROVIDE PATIENTS WITH KNOWLEDGE TO ENCOURAGE RE-ESTABLISHING A BALANCED AND HEALTHY LIFESTYLE.

 

BRITTANY AITCHISON NURSE PRACTITIONER

BRITTANY AITCHISON, FNP-C, RECEIVED HER FAMILY NURSE PRACTITIONER DEGREE IN MAY 2014. SHE BEGAN WORKING WITH DR. HIGGINBOTHAM IN JUNE OF THAT YEAR AND HAS BEEN IN PRACTICE FOR 8 YEARS. BRITTANY PLACES SPECIAL EMPHASIS ON WOMEN’S HEALTH, INCLUDING WELLNESS EXAMS AND BIO-IDENTICAL HORMONE CARE FOR BOTH WOMEN AND MEN. SHE ALSO TREATS PATIENTS WITH THYROID DISORDERS AND CHRONIC FATIGUE.  BRITTANY’S BELIEF AND TRAINING INCLUDE TREATING AND BALANCING THE WHOLE BODY THROUGH INTEGRATIVE PRACTICES SUCH AS APPLIED KINESIOLOGY, JIN SHIN JYUTSU, FASCIAL DISTORTION TECHNIQUES AND OTHER NATURAL REMEDIES TO COMPLIMENT PHARMACEUTICALS WHEN NEEDED. A PARTNERSHIP WITH HER PATIENTS TOWARD THE GOAL OF HARMONY OF MIND, BODY, AND SPIRIT, THROUGH TREATMENT AND EDUCATION, EMPOWERS THEM ON THEIR JOURNEY OF HEALTH AND WELLNESS.
